We’re excited to share that we recently spoke with Android Police about the ongoing work behind Smart Launcher. Instead of focusing on our app’s beginnings, this time we touched on what it’s like to maintain and improve Smart Launcher in today’s Android ecosystem.
In the interview, we talked about some of the challenges we face, like dealing with Android's new restrictions that affect features many of you use every day. For example, we discussed how changes to wallpaper access have forced us to come up with creative workarounds to maintain the customization options Smart Launcher is known for.
